Minor AA (Player Pitch) - Little League Baseball
Minor League Baseball programs for boys and girls may be operated within each division for younger players with less experience. The minor league may be players ages 5-11.
The "Double A" division is player-pitch (46'). In the past, this division started out as a machine-pitch and transitioned to a player-pitch division. With the increase in players and successful experiences in our "Single A" division, players are progressing at an accelerated rate; we can mitigate the need for a machine in this division, thereby becoming fully player-pitch. The advantage of developing young pitchers in practice instead of game situations allows coaches to protect these arms and build their confidence.
