Coronavirus (COVID-19) - Updated Impacts to the League

We hope you are all happy and healthy during this unprecedented time in our history.  We understand that things are continuing to be delayed during the State of California's "Stay-at-Home" orders, however we are continuing to looking forward with the acceleration into Phase 2 of the state's reopening.

As our Coaches have told you all, the City of Temecula's athletic field closure is set to expire on May 31st, 2020.  We are hopeful that on Monday, June 1st, we will be able to resume games/practices if that order is not extended.  Our plan is to have two games and a practice for each team (T-Ball will have one weekday practice and one game each Saturday), and then for the AA divisions and up, after the first two weeks of June, move into a three game a week schedule in order get in a division tournament  before fields close on July 24th.

As that date is quickly approaching, we are encouraging your players to start warming up their baseball bodies in order to get the rust off before we jump back into the season.  Have them go out and play catch for 10 minutes, run around your neighborhood, take advantage of the open parking lots at parks around the City to hit grounders and get in some swings.  We want to ensure our players are warm and safe to return to the fields to prevent injuries.  We do want to remind you all that team practices and gatherings are not permitted and to start these risks TLL's field allocation for the proposed summer season and future seasons.

We are extremely hopeful that the State, County and City continue to open things back up and allow our players to get back to the sport they love.  If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us by replying to this email.
